It is extremely important for businesses to remain competitive in the fast-paced eCommerce world. One of our clients, For Youth - a leading name in the supplements industry, wanted the same. They faced a significant challenge and reached out to us with their problems. They operated six websites on Squarespace and planned to expand with four more.

What Problems Did The Client Face?

For Youth’s main challenge was managing a complex SKU mapping system with their fulfillment partner. They wanted to offer their products in various formats:

  • Single units
  • Packs of multiple units
  • Subscription-based purchases.

This complexity resulted in the need to manage 6 SKUs for 3 products - three for one-time purchases and three for subscriptions, a feature not available in the market. Additionally, they also wanted to display the per-day price of the product.

What Was Our Approach?

At Nivara Commerce, we understood that the project’s success hinged on several key aspects:

Seamless Migration to Shopify: Moving from Squarespace to Shopify was essential for improved performance and scalability. Shopify’s advanced features, including Shopify Markets, were ideal for managing operations across multiple locations - in this case, 10.

Custom Subscription Management 

To address the SKU management and subscription requirements, we turned to Loop, a subscription-based app. We needed to create custom flows to handle diverse product options and subscription models while maintaining system integrity.

Maintaining Aesthetics and Performance

The migration and customization needed to enhance functionality without compromising site speed, performance, or visual appeal.

We started with a migration plan, transferring For Youth’s sites to Shopify while preserving the content and design integrity. Our team implemented Shopify Markets to enable effective operations management across 10 different locations, enhancing global reach.

Given that no existing app met For Youth’s specific needs, we developed innovative solutions:

Implementing functionality to display the per-day price of products, enhancing transparency for customers.

We undertook a complete redesign of the store to align with For Youth’s brand and improve user experience, including:
